Our First Visitors

This week, we had the pleasure of entertaining our first visitors since we have been here in Luxembourg. We thoroughly enjoyed Kody and his girlfriend Bert (her real name is Brittany) being here all week. They had a little trouble getting here as they were supposed to arrive in Brussels but because of flight delays, they wound up coming into Frankfurt, Germany. However, their luggage didn't have such good luck as it didn't get here until later in the week. On the way home from Frankfurt, we stopped by Heidelberg, Germany to see the sites.

On Monday, since they didn't have any clothes to wear because their luggage hadn't arrived yet, we took them shopping to get a few things. We also went on a fantastic guided tour of Luxembourg City that my co-workers gave us before leaving Ohio. The guide was terrific. I had been down to Luxembourg City many times but now understand much more of the history of the city.

On Tuesday, we headed to Paris on a 2 hour high speed train. Paris was a blast. Here's a couple of pictures:

We had a great time seeing all of the sites in Paris. .



On Friday and Saturday, we spent time around Luxembourg at the American Military Cemetery, Borscheid Castle, and the Vianden Castle. Here's a couple of the pictures:

Anyway, we had a great time with Kody and Bert!! I think they had a good time too!!
